There always seems to be something going on at St. Luke's. There are many opportunities for fellowship and service throughout the week. All are welcome to join one or more of the diverse ministries that enrich our life together.
Fellowship and feasting have a long history at St. Luke's. Our active Parish Life Committee plans many events and meals throughout the year, including Easter, Christmas, Pentecost, Gay Pride and St. Luke's Sunday.
Groups meet regularly to participate in centering prayer, Benedictine spirituality, and knitting and crocheting. Many parishioners also join foyers (small groups that meet regularly for dinner, conversation, and prayer).
Our life also extends beyond the borders of New York City, and we have visited and hosted members of our companion parish, the Cathedral Church of the Resurrection in the Diocese of Matlosane, South Africa.
