Videographer and Social Media Assistant
The Videographer/Social Media Assistant will work under the Communications Manager to assist in the production of online content, including livestreaming services and events, posting content to social media, and hosting Zoom meetings. The VSM Assistant will work closely with the clergy, Parish Office Administrator and Archivist to ensure that content is in line with the church’s mission.
Content Creation: produce weekly livestreams (Wednesday, every other Friday, and as needed) and upload recordings to website and social media as needed; assist with social media posts for church and thrift shop, upload posts to bicentennial website.
Zoom technician: assist with various small group zoom meetings; set up and host meetings as needed.
Knowledge of Adobe Suite, Vimeo, Studio 6, Hootsuite, Zoom and Facebook Live required. The ideal candidate will be a team player and a self-starter. Training will be provided on our setup, but knowledge of the software that we use is necessary. The position requires 1-2 days dedicated to on-site work per week.
Hours: 10 hours/week. Must be able to work evenings and some weekends.
