The Rev. Victoria Lewis
School Chaplain & Associate
Office: 212.924.5960
Mother Victoria Lewis is an Ohio native, a true Midwesterner through and through. She attended George Washington University where she studied Peace Studies and Religion. It is there that she became heavily involved in interfaith organizing and activism, becoming the President of the GW Interfaith Council for two years and the leader of the construction of the University’s first interfaith prayer and meditation space. Following graduation, she served as a Youth Development volunteer for the Peace Corps in the Kingdom of Eswatini.
Mother Lewis completed her studies for ministry at Union Theological Seminary in 2024. During seminary, she worked as a seminarian at Canterbury Uptown, the campus ministry at Columbia University & Barnard College, and taught at an after-school Hebrew School program at East End Temple. She also taught and wrote curriculum for the Interfaith Families Project, a Jewish-Christian interfaith community based out of DC. She was ordained as a priest in June 2024.
In her free time, Mother Lewis can be found knitting, learning to play the mandolin, or relaxing with her partner, Isabelle, and their cat, Bugsy Siegel.
