Benedictine Prayer Group
Benedictine Spirituality at St. Luke's
Among the many ways we gather for worship and prayer, St. Luke’s seeks to be grounded in the spirituality of monastic wisdom, prayer, and renewal which is the wellspring of the Benedictine Way. By joining together in the Work of God - prayer, study, and service - we are committed to maintaining a vision of unity and sanctification for our parish, neighborhood community, and the world. We invite you to partner with us in this work each week.
Vespers | Wednesdays at 6pm
Join us as we sing our service of evening prayer in the Benedictine tradition.
Please note that Holy Eucharist is celebrated on the first Wednesdays of the month in place of Vespers.
Bible Study and Light Meal | Wednesdays at 6:45pm
After our Vespers service, all are invited to a time of fellowship, study, and prayer accompanied by light refreshments. Throughout the year, we offer unique presentations and guided study groups led by visitors from Holy Cross Monastery as well as other religious communities in the Episcopal Church.
