The St. Luke's Center LPC Approval

Posted December 15, 2025

On November 25, 2025, the New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission (LPC) approved a Certificate of Appropriateness for the new St. Luke’s Center on our campus. We are deeply grateful to the Commission, Manhattan Community Board 2, our local elected officials, and the many community stakeholders who offered thoughtful input throughout this process.  As reflected in the approved designs, our architects at BKSK achieved a careful and respectful balance by creating a new facility that will significantly expand St. Luke’s vital community programming while honoring the architectural character and design intent of the Greenwich Village Historic District.

The approved renderings can be viewed in the gallery below. Please note that these renderings do not show plans for the renovated St. Luke's School play space as it is a separate project.
