Simone Richmond grew up in the New York Area, and has spent her working life in nonprofit development, mostly in California, mobilizing resources by connecting volunteers and organizers who are doing good work with the funders who have the means to make it all possible. She has dedicated her career to alleviating poverty, ending the scourge of nuclear weapons and war, promoting environmental sustainability, and supporting social justice.
Simone has a B.A. in English from Barnard College and a Masters of Fine Arts in Fiction from Syracuse University. She is glad to be here at St. Luke’s, working in concert with clergy and staff, to enrich and improve services for the under-served throughout our community, toward a shared vision of a better world.
